It’s sad to hear that Peter Eland has retired from publishing, but good that Velo Vision will continue, hopefully for a very long time to come. Peter’s magazine (a relative newcomer compared to A to B!) has always been closely focussed on its core cycling subjects, whereas A to B has flitted here, there and everywhere, sometimes concentrating for a year or two, but more often changing direction issue by issue. Rather surprisingly, both approaches seem to have landed enough subscribers to keep their respective editors off the breadline, and long may both magazines continue. And just to reinforce the point, we have a particularly eclectic mix this time, from hybrid German shunting locomotives to holidays by tandem in the 1970s.
