(both generally more easily accessible by train). Buses are slow and
some routes are circuitous (Wincanton via Bruton can take more than
40 minutes). Connections with trains are quite rare too (see below).

side of the road from the station exit. Standing here is HIGHLY
DANGEROUS - travellers should wait at the station entrance, indicate
clearly to the driver, and cross to board the bus when the road is
clear.

integration has yet to arrive in Castle Cary! As a general rule,
connections between trains and buses are either poor or non-existent.
